hello everyone.
i realise i have been back for a while, but i've been trying to process my 1702 photos that i took overseas! i will not be posting too many, i don't want to bore you to death, but here's just a few!
i flew from sydney to abu dhabi, then was supposed to have a 3 hour delay then fly to manchester. instead, i had a 6 hour delay and then missed my train to wales, which was my final destination. yeah that was good fun. so i already started off my trip badly, which didn't bode well for the rest of it! to their credit, the airline did try to help me, since it was their fault that i missed my train, but in the end, i was rescued by my lovely friends who live in manchester - i owe them big time! i eventually got to wales, just a day later than expected.
it hadn't changed much... still green and lovely countryside with lots of stone walls. i love the stone walls - i took loads of pics of stone walls. some of them are so old it just blows my mind that they are still standing - considering how higgledy-piggledy they are put together.
i spent a lot of time out walking around the countryside, attempting to make friends with the wildlife (ie cows and sheep), but they weren't too fond of me!
i also spent a bit of time at my grandparents house, which hasn't changed much since i went there when i was a kid.
