so, i'm off to europe in...yikes! two days time!

i'm going to wales to spend some time with the family, then to manchester to spend some time with some lovely friends... then london, to explore and catch up with people... then finally paris, to once again fall in love with the city...

i am a mixed bag of excitement and anxiety - the excitement part is easy to explain... the anxiety is due to a very strong dislike of flying, plus a travelling time there of 30+ hours, plus a fear of forgetting things. argh!

so i won't be writing any blog posts for the next three weeks, but after that, i am sure you can expect to see a whole heap of photos. i'll try not to bombard you though!

here's an old shot of the view from my grandparents house - that mountain is the graig. hopefully it won't be quite as cold this time as it was that time...
